The human body is designed to tell you what it needs. If it requires food it makes you hungry. If it’s water you’ll get thirsty. If you’re feeling restless in your situation, whether it’s your job, relationship, etc., it could be your body saying “let’s make this more adventurous.”
By the very definition, starting a business is the ultimate adventure: a bold, usually risky undertaking; hazardous action of uncertain outcome. You could fail, lose your savings, income, reputation – even within your inner circle. Yet every day thousands follow their gut, ignore their fears, block the naysayers and dive in. Their motivation is simple – it’s what they want. The alternative, which unfortunately many settle for, is what they don’t want; working toward someone else’s goals. Placing their career and financial future in someone else’s hands.
An emerging trend is to make it easier to get into business. Uber and Lyft will have you rolling in a matter of days, if not hours. If you don’t own a car, they’ll get you one. They’ve harnessed the spirit of adventure within a system that capitalizes on human impulses and curiosity, and before you know it, you’re in business.

Mobile maintenance is truly an entrepreneurial field for specialists with a mechanical passion and adventurous spirit. The Mobile Maintenance Association will support you with the same resources as your largest competitors and aggressively pursue the latest products, services and technology to strengthen your position in the marketplace. The motivation of the MMA is simple, as well; we want to keep small business owners in the mobile service industry.
